Spoleto

Spoleto is a city in Umbria surrounded by hills, olive groves and vineyards (45 minites drive from Labro). Dating from the 12th century, Spoleto Cathedral has a porticoed facade embellished by a mosaic. Inside is a series of frescoes by the medieval artist Filippo Lippi. The National Archaeological Museum displays items from the Bronze Age and Roman times. It also includes a restored Roman Theatre.

Lago di Piediluco

The lake of Piediluco is a 10 minute drive from Labro (the lake you look onto from the village). Here you can go swimming and hire pedalo's.

Cascata delle Marmore

One of Italy's largest waterfalls. 20 minutes drive from Labro. Here you can go rafting, canyoning and kayaking.

GLIDING

The Aero Club of Rieti  can take you on a 20 minute flight along the ridges of the mountain Terminillo aboard a two-seater glider ASK-21 piloted by an instructor.
